Friends Helping Friends
On the way to Johnson City on our last cruise, Larry's Ranchero began to run rough and backfire. After lunch, George, Bruce and Ellen followed Larry & his wife to make sure they made it home. The car began to backfire and even blew off a tailpipe extension (Bruce braved the traffic and retrieved it). Being unable to repair the car on the road, club president Len was called and he brought out a trailer to take it to George's shop. Ellen took Larry's wife home. At George's shop, the coil was replaced and a relay installed and Larry drove home no problem. Being in our club (or any car club, really) means you're never alone on the road. Thanks to all who helped!
CRUISE TO JOHNSON CITY
Oct. 6th, 2026
We met at Blanco Brew and drove some serious back roads to the Pecan St. Brewery for lunch. Cattle guards, cows, creeks, low water crossings and even a landing strip in the middle of nowhere. 15 cars and a bunch of fun people.

92 cars came out on a drizzly, misty, wet day! Thanks to all who braved the weather. Our standard disclaimer - we try to get a shot of every car that comes out, but we sometimes miss some. If we missed you we are sorry and hope to get you next time.

Cruise to Hays Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
We were asked if we could bring some cars out for the patients at the Hays Nursing & Rehabilitation Center to check out. We talked about the old cars and days, they had fun and we did too. They had the same stories we have ("I had one of those, I wish I had that one back"). We had brunch at Panera Bread after. Thanks to Bruce and also Karen Miles for setting this one up.
