Pete Zovath

Pete Zovath was a long time member of 12 Kings, and participated in many of our functions, shows and meetings and helped whenever he could.
He owned the 1970 big block Corvette pictured above. He was very happy for all of the friends he made after joining the club. He was very excited to finally get his Corvette back in top shape, with the help of friends Bruce and Larry who were also neighbors.
Pete was a great guy and friend to all who knew him.
Please keep him and his family in your prayers.
Pete will be missed. Rest in peace my friend.

Tommy Miles

1941 - 2026

It is with great sorrow that we tell you of the passing of Tommy Miles.  Tommy and Karen were among the first to join our club and were of great help and benefit through the years.  He was a hard core Chevy man and he and Karen both drove their Corvettes on whatever roads our cruises took us on.  His smile and infectious laugh will be sorely missed.  Services are Saturday the 18th, Thomason Funeral Home in Wimberley at 10:30 am.  Visitation is 9:00 to 10:30, same place.  After the service there will be a gathering at the Wimberley Community Center for reminiscing and food. We would like to have you drive your cool cars, if possible.  Karen and their son, Lee will be in Tommy's 64 Corvette.

Kingsbury Model T Olympics, March 28th 2026

Good run to Pioneer Flight Museum in Kingsbury. We learned how to drive Model Ts. We competed in the Model T Olympics, competed meaning we went through the motions. Bean bag toss, slalom, and potato sticking. Pure fun.

We met the guys that are responsible for keeping the 15 Ts at the museum working. They told us that the cars don't get driven enough as they don't have enough drivers. We talked to them about us coming out once in a while and getting the cars out and running them around. Bruce will be in contact with them and we'll keep everyone informed. If you want to learn how to drive a Model T let Bruce know and he'll put you on the list.  The owners like having people drive their Ts.

We should be back out there for the spring fly in on May 2nd. more pictures HERE
