Kingsbury Model T Olympics, March 28th 2026

Good run to Pioneer Flight Museum in Kingsbury. We learned how to drive Model Ts. We competed in the Model T Olympics, competed meaning we went through the motions. Bean bag toss, slalom, and potato sticking. Pure fun.

We met the guys that are responsible for keeping the 15 Ts at the museum working. They told us that the cars don't get driven enough as they don't have enough drivers. We talked to them about us coming out once in a while and getting the cars out and running them around. Bruce will be in contact with them and we'll keep everyone informed. If you want to learn how to drive a Model T let Bruce know and he'll put you on the list.  The owners like having people drive their Ts.

We should be back out there for the spring fly in on May 2nd. more pictures HERE

12 Kings 5th Annual Car Show March 21st, 2026

After months of planning and countless meetings we were fortunate to have a great day for our Car Show!
Although it was a bit warm in the afternoon, the day was beautiful!
The cars and trucks were first class and everyone was enjoying each other's rides. There were families and shoppers searching for deals at the swap meet that Speeding Springs was hosting and the Antique Shop that is on the property.
We had multiple food trucks and free beer!
The announcing chores and humor were handled by Jonny who is one of our members! The trophies were hand made by Doug and Tommy who are two our talented members!
We had a a huge showing of members in attendance to put this show in motion!
We had tons of raffle prizes to give out and a big thanks to George and all the others who provided them.
We would like to thank our sponsors who support us and all of the folks that took time today to enjoy our show. We enjoyed being with all who attended today! All proceeds from the show will be distributed to 3 charities that we support.
We'll see you next year, and as always we have our Coffee and Cars in Wimberley the first Sunday of every month!

Cruise to Red Bud Cafe, Blanco March 14th, 2026

Saturday morning a great group of 12 Kings met for a cruise to Blanco for a lunch at Redbud Cafe. We cruised through some scenic Hill Country backroads, saw some beautiful animals, and just enjoyed the morning.
When we arrived at Redbud there was plenty of seating, inside and outside and members enjoyed each other's company.  The food was great as well as the service! This was our first cruise of the season, and thanks to Mike Cochran and the rest of the planning committee who mapped our route and destination.
