Can anyone recommend a hot rod friendly inspection station? The car will pass all necessary checks but I had an issue years ago with a rejection because I didn't have a preheater hose running from my headers to my air cleaner. I don't have a way to connect a preheater hose to my headers. There has been a gentleman that has not been quite so vertical about such things but I think this pandemic may have done in his business. Was hoping somebody might know some other reasonable person in the business. My registration expired in April.
Thanks,'

Thanks. I will give them a try.
Yes, Express Care by the Shamrock station on RR 12 across from HEB. Good guys and not picky. Don't think you will have a problem.
Hey Lamont,
Good to hear from you! Since I run antique plates on my "fleet", I can't say with certainty who would be the best for the job, but I've been taking all my daily drivers (and motorcycle too) to the Valvoline Oil Change place directly across from the H.E.B. in Wimberley. The guys are reasonable, have a sense of humor and I've never seen them pop a single hood for inspections. Give 'em a try.

P.S. Hope to see you soon!
