I checked with Murpho's and they are looking for mid 50's and earlier rods and customs for the show, so not really an event for the whole club. We do have a bunch of those kinds of cars, though, and the rest of us might just go over in our "regular" cars.

NOTE - It was decided at our meeting last night not to go to the Canyon Lake Hot Rod and Classic Car cruise-in for October since so many of our regular cruisers will be gone. Instead we plan to go to the Alamo Falls Cafe on the 19th. We will do the Canyon Lake run in November. More info to come.

Hey Jonny-O, we had missed you guys and wondered where you were. By my count we only have 7 signed up including you. Jay may know of some more. If we get some more maybe Perales will work with us if we guarantee at least 10. Otherwise, I guess they will still park us together if we all arrive together.

A lot of wives and family members are going, so sign up and go with us!

Sounds great! I don't like to get up early, but once or twice a month is OK for car events. I'd like to see us go as a group and enter the show, but I'm up for parking outside if that's what everybody wants. If we are in the show, though, we can all keep an eye out for each other's cars. It will be busy with a lot going on, and I like to keep watch on my car.

Thanks to you Jay for putting this together, and also to Paula for having us all at your beautiful place! The Alamo Springs Restaurant at the Old Tunnel State Park is a bit far but might be good for a cruise. The new shopping center west of Dripping Springs has a great pizza place called Pieous. Also there is a great Mexican place in Kyle. The Drive in sounds cool, too. This is a great club, where ever we go, it will be fun.
