Hi again folks. I wanted to give you some more info on this event and how its shaping up. Murpho's event will happen this coming Sunday, January 31st. Start time is 12:00 but we'll meet at 10:00 am at the City Hall in Wimberley and leave there at 10:15 or so. This will be a cruise by the 12 Kings to Murpho's which is 1131 FM967 in Buda. Everyone in the 12 Kings is welcome to join us for the Cruise over there, however Murpho's has asked that only cars built around the 50's and before park in the show area. Others can park in another area. They are having some photographs taken and I think they are going to use them in a magazine or for promotion and that is what they want to project. It'll be neat to see the cars that are there, no matter where you guys want to park. By leaving early we should be able to find a place where the 12 Kings cars can park together. I think Bill Ward has already committed to being in the show. So everyone can stay as long as they want, we will cruise over together and people can stay or leave on their own schedules. They are going to have music, food and pinups - oh and cars - so I think there will be plenty of fun for all! Hopefully we can get plenty of members out for a day of relaxation and fresh air!

Hi Everyone, Here's the latest update on our December 7th Cruise! I hope you had a great Thanksgiving and are getting ready for more fun this month! Speaking of fun, we have a great cruise arranged for this coming Saturday morning, December 7th! I think this is going to be one of our best to date! We have lined up several stops and a great place to eat. We will gather at the Wimberley City Hall parking area, where we have for other runs, at 9:00 am Saturday. We’ll depart there (by 9:15) for our first stop at a shop near Canyon Lake. Its called Twisted Pistons and they do a lot of different things there, so it should be very interesting. We should arrive there about 9:30 and will stay until 10:00 – 10:15. Jeromy Yager will greet us and show us around. From there we will take the scenic River Road from just below Canyon Lake Dam, along the Guadalupe toward New Braunfels. It’s a beautiful drive and we can enjoy the scenery on our way to our next stop. The second stop will be at Cruzer Customs in NB. They have a very good full service shop and do top quality work on show cars, or engine work, or AC installation and much more, so this will be a very interesting stop as well. We should arrive there by 10:30 – 10:45. Bryan Cruz and Jessica will be our hosts. We will shoot at departing from their shop by 11:30 or so and will head out to eat. Our eating location is Cooper Old Time BBQ, just down the street. They have an outstanding selection of different meats and plenty of room for our group. I figure we will be ready for a meal by that time! After lunch we will have an optional stop at A & E Classic Cars in New Braunfels! For all those interested we will make the short run to that shop to see what they have to offer. They sell a lot of muscle cars and have a shop which I understand does work on their inventory and for other’s cars too! Again, this is an optional stop but should be fun! I’m excited about this and look forward to seeing all of you Saturday morning at the City Hall at 9:00 am! The forecast is good so let’s get out there and drive ‘um!! Hi All 12 Kings, Our November shop crawl (&cruise to eat) was supposed to be this Saturday, Nov. 16, however we are going to push it out to December 7th as we have been unable to lock down the early date with the shop owners. I hope that the new date will still work for most members as this will be a fun event for sure. Jonny O and I will post information as soon as we can get more arrangements made. Yes we will Michael. We are now shooting at doing this November 16th because Thanksgiving is coming up quickly. I will be talking with the shops involved to confirm that date works for them and will post here again when we get things completely nailed down.

Thanks to everyone that was able to participate in our latest cruise (Saturday)! It was fun to get together again and to visit Brookdale Assisted Living in San Marcos, along with the Stiles shop and Roughhouse Brewery! Thanks to the folks that brought all the side dishes; we had quite a feast!! The potato salad was a standout and we don't know who made it. Will that person make your self known for accolades and so we can return your Rubbermaid bowl. We'll look forward to our next cruise...any ideas? Doug said there is a drive in movie in the New Braunfels area? Lots of possibilities.
