Hi Larry, Thanks for reaching out. I'm pretty sure we've all stuffed a stereo or tape deck into an old car along the way, but I don't know of anyone who could be called an audiophile in the club. My most recent experience was putting a Classic Stereo (from classicstereos.com) in my wife's '70 Cougar. I ordered a unit with an AUX port so we can use her Ipod. I also upgraded the in-dash speakers and was somewhat baffled at the two speaker, three wire system that came from the factory. My best resources came from Crutchfield.com and Cougar wiring diagrams. I just paired it with a Bluetooth receiver and it seems to work pretty well. That's about the extent of my knowledge. Perhaps you can bring it up at our next meeting, especially if you have a specific system in mind. Best of luck and we'll see you on the road, Jonny-O

Hey Lamont, Good to hear from you! Since I run antique plates on my "fleet", I can't say with certainty who would be the best for the job, but I've been taking all my daily drivers (and motorcycle too) to the Valvoline Oil Change place directly across from the H.E.B. in Wimberley. Hey Jay, IIs this still a "go"? Haven't noticed any updates or comments since Feb 1st.

After taking a head count at Wednesday's meeting, we now have a total of 17 attendees. I'll be contacting the cafe this afternoon and making our reservation for 20, just to be sure. Weather is looking good, so Let's Cruise!

So far we have 6 plus myself. I'll need to confirm with the Alamo Cafe on Friday, so I'll ask if there are any others interested at tonight's meeting. Looks like great weather!

Hope so. I like the idea of 9 a.m. parking in the shade!

Laura and I want to thank Doug (and Jay - yeah, we know -you didn't do anything) for a terrific first Cruise To Eat. The route was great, the lunch venue was excellent and our visit to Doug's shop was a nice cap to the afternoon. We even got some much needed sunshine. Best part was getting to know each other a bit better. We'll be looking forward to more cruises soon!
