Let's cruise to The Alamo Springs Cafe for some "Best in Texas" Hamburgers! This Cruise-to-Eat on Saturday, October 19th will take us to the Alamo Springs General Store and Cafe outside Fredericksburg, near the Old Tunnel State Park. We'll rally at Jacob's Well School on 2325, just west of Wimberley at 10:00 a.m. We'll depart at 10:15 a.m. for a projected arrival time of 11:30. Our route will take us through Blanco and on past Luckenbach to Grapetown Road. From there, we'll go left onto Old San Antonio Road to Alamo Road and our destination. Total distance is approximately 52 miles. I must have a firm number to confirm our reservation on Friday. The cafe opens at 11:00, so we should be able to slide right in and get served promptly. There are ample parking spaces both at the cafe and near the Old Tunnel, if needed. Indoor and outdoor seating is available and if burgers aren't your thing, they have several other items on the menu.
